Self-Host Alpha — Charter

Focus: gate-based self-improvement for forge-platform without Hermes, Factory, OpenClaw, or full Fleet.

In scope

  • Correlated static JSON under sprints/selfhost-alpha/samples/.
  • .forge/runs/<frun_*> on-disk store inside consumer repos (gitignored by default).
  • Allowlisted local runner + evidence importer.
  • Minimal Lenses Studio surface: list/read run payloads; optional local decision POST.

Out of scope

  • Adaptive agent orchestration loops.
  • Raw command execution from Studio.
  • Production multi-tenant RBAC beyond existing Lenses session policy.

Dependencies

  • M1 static spine (schemas + samples).
  • M2-lite UX slice in Lenses (this charter pairs with sprints/M2-lenses-control-plane/charge.md).
